Aperture TxStream
Built from validator shreds: reconstructed, deshredded, decoded and filtered in one path, before replay. Lookup tables are resolved when available, the alt_resolution field marks full or partial resolution, and there is no shred receiver to run. Use it when arrival time matters more than confirmed post-execution metadata.

ShredStream gRPC
The Solana Entry stream in Jito's proto at solana-shredstream-grpc.rpcfast.com:443. For teams that run their own decoder and want the raw material without a shred receiver.

Yellowstone gRPC
Geyser-based streams of accounts, slots, transactions, blocks and entries after replay, with commitment from processed to finalized. For indexers, analytics, alerting and ingestion workers.

Coverage in the same run: TxStream 99.9%, ShredStream 56.9%, because the benchmark client did not resolve lookup tables.
In this run both shred feeds beat Yellowstone gRPC in almost every matched race (99.8%, 99.9%); head to head TxStream and ShredStream are even. The difference is what reaches your bot: decoded transactions with lookup tables resolved where available, or entries you decode yourself.

Streaming FAQ
ShredStream gRPC vs TxStream: what is the difference?
Both are built from validator shreds. TxStream decodes them, resolves address lookup tables where it can and applies your filters before sending, so you receive finished transactions. ShredStream gRPC sends the unfiltered Solana Entry stream and your code does the decoding.
How do I get Solana shreds without running a shred receiver?
You connect to a gRPC endpoint with your token. Direct UDP shred ingestion is not offered to end users at the moment; TxStream and ShredStream gRPC are the way to get shred-level data.
How much does Yellowstone gRPC cost on Solana?
From $249 a month: Yellowstone gRPC opens on the Stream plan with 10 streams, and Aperture ($499) has 25. TxStream (25 streams) and ShredStream gRPC (10 streams) are on Aperture.
Does the ShredStream gRPC endpoint work with the Jito ShredStream client?
Yes. It serves the Jito-compatible ShredstreamProxy SubscribeEntries method at solana-shredstream-grpc.rpcfast.com:443 and keeps the same protobuf contract: point your client at the endpoint and pass your x-token.
Where are the Solana gRPC streams located?
Frankfurt, Equinix FR13. Place your bot close to it for the shortest path.
